 | Like or Send for additional chance to winTeam Website API ContestThe iScore Sports Team Website API allows full access to the the same data we use to create the Team Websites in a programmatic way. By creating an API to access this data, we are opening up the data to the iScore Community in a way that we believe will lead to some creative uses of the data. We have had requests through the years to get access to this data both from individuals and third party developers, and it is finally here.

To celebrate the launch and kick start usage of the API, we are having a contest. We are looking for the best use of the API. It can be integration of iScore with content management engines like Drupal, Joomla, or WordPress, it can be integration with other Team Website providers or a custom Team Website, it could even be something as simple as "widgets" that can be plugged in to other sites easily to give access to game results, upcoming scheduled games, etc. It can be something that is given away free to other iScore users, or it could be something you provide for a fee. We just want to see the creative ways the iScore Community comes up with to use the API.
DetailsJudging will be done by iScore staff and also based on feedback we hear from other community members. Please send submissions to us directly at support@iscoresports.com or post a link in the feedback section below. You can use the "demo" data feeds that are provided in the Team Website API Documentation or it can be live against your own Team Website data if that shows your entry in a better way.
You do not have to have a Team Website to enter the contest --- the documentation gives links that can be used to get sample data that can be used to create your entry.
The entry can be for any sport we have an iScore product for (Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Football) or can work across all sports.
Contest Deadline: All entries must be received by December 31, 2011. Winners will be announced in early January.
PrizesAt a minimum, we will be offering the following prizes:
- Grand Prize - One Lifetime team website subscription for each sport we have a product for.
- Second Prize - One Lifetime team website subscription for any one sport we have a product for.
- Third Prize - One year team website subscription for any one sport we have a product for.
- Consolation Prize - For anyone that Likes this page, comments on this page, or the Team Website API page, or sends the page to others, we will have a random drawing for a free 1 year subscription for a Team Website as well. Liking, Commenting, or Sending both pages will increase your chances to win. So even if you do not do API programming yourself, spreading the word can still win you a free 1 year Team Website.
